CAROL DENNY  LM CPM

Since beginning her midwife practice in 1997, Carol Denny has provided care & education to women and their families. She has attended about 1200 births. She attended her first birth as a student in 1982, 42 years ago. Her observations caused her to become passionate about kind and respectful care to women during this vulnerable time. She became a doula (labor assistant) in 1989. Having her own homebirths after having hospital births, she became convinced of the benefits of homebirth for both mother and baby.

She is also passionate about caring for women and babies around the world. In 2004 she founded the non-profit corporation Global Health Training. GHT focuses on teaching healthcare with the purpose of improving maternal and neonatal outcomes, especially in vulnerable communities. She has traveled to Mexico, Honduras, Haiti, Uganda and India teaching healthcare.     

Carol has been married for 40 years. She has 8 children and 22 grandchildren.

MARY GIBBONS LM CPM  

Mary attended her first birth with her mom when she was 12 years old and instantly knew she was called to be a midwife. She spent her high school and college years studying midwifery, working as an apprentice, and as a doula. She has always been passionate about educating and caring for pregnant and birthing women and their families.  She received her license in 2009 and continues to work with her mom, Carol Denny.  She has attended over 750 births.

During these years, she also got married and had 7 of her own children. Her experiences of having 7 natural labors; one a planned hospital birth for a high risk delivery, one emergency transfer during labor, and 5 beautiful home births, drove her passion for helping other women have the experience they desire. 

Mary loves learning new things and is constantly researching all things related to women, infant and children's health. She is a certified Dr. Sears Health Coach and loves guiding mothers to find the tools to raise healthy children. 

Whenever Mary has free time you will find her outside hiking, camping or gardening.
